Get More Time On The Water!
A highlight of a Watersports Tour with Live Oac is our prime location. The Live Oac Odyssey departs Hilton Head Harbor, located on the Hilton Head side of Skull Creek, across from Pinckney Island National Wildlife Refuge. What does this mean for water skiing, wakeboarding, and tubing? We're about 15 minutes away from ideal skiing waters on the Mackay Creek side of Pinckney Island. This superb, remote creek is ideally situated with tree-lined protection from typical lowcountry winds so that you'll be more likely to experience calm water skiing. Plus, because it's so close by, you'll have more opportunity to be behind the boat than riding to and from the ski area. The Mackay Creek location is significantly less trafficked by other boaters, so you'll likely have fewer boat wakes or distractions than busy spots like Bull Creek or the May River. We can go there if you want, but....Compare to departure locations on Broad Creek (Shelter Cove Marina or Palmetto Bay Marina), South Beach Marina or Harbortown, and you'll see why Live Oac is the number one choice for towable watersports in the lowcountry! Why spend half your trip just "getting there and back" when you could be having fun water skiing, wakeboarding, or tubing?
