The Live Oac Fleet

The Live Oac boating experience is the best in the Lowcountry.

Our fleet of Hurricane Deck Boats are perhaps the most comfortable and best equipped cruising boats available to the public in the Hilton Head Island area.

The twin sister vessels Odyssey & Arcadia are top-of-the-line Hurricane SunDeck 217OB equipped with super-quiet Yamaha F150 4-stroke motors, and our third (yet-to-be-named) vessel is a Hurricane 195, slightly shorter, lighter and faster!

For your comfort and the most personalized guided experience, we always limit our vessels to 6 guests, although they are rated for more.

What makes the Live Oac fleet so special?

• Hurricane deck boats are regarded as the best built, best equipped, and most comfortable deck boats available. Known as the "SUV of Deck Boats", they are built for comfortable journeys in a variety of conditions.

• Full windshields on the Odyssey & Arcadia protects the entire stern passenger area (unlike the captain-only wind deflectors on most "comparable" commercial craft). This provides the driest ride possible. Should we get surprised by a typical summer afternoon shower as is common in the lowcountry, we'll close up the windshield, cover the walk through, and you're much more comfortable than you would be in most other boats. In cooler weather, this keeps us warmer and more comfortable out of the breeze when cruising. Our third vessel lacks the full windshield, but it's used in warmer conditions only.

• On board emergency head (that's boater-talk for "restroom") for your convenience on longer excursions on both the Odyssey and Arcadia. If you have a concern, just ask upon reservation and we'll make sure either of these boats is booked for your trip so the head is available.
