BACKCOUNTRY / INSHORE Fishing in Hilton Head
Our most popular Hilton Head fishing charters are inshore fishing trips. The inshore waters include the salt marsh tidal creeks, rivers, sounds (“bays”). These are generally calmer waters and always within sight of land.
The backcountry waters are accessible to us within a shorter trip of 4 hours or less, but we also offer longer excursions if you're looking to spend the better part of a day on the water.

All Live Oac fishing charters are led by experienced professional fishing guides & USCG licensed captains and include boat, fuel, bait and tackle (except certain full-day offshore trips which are flat rate + fuel). No experience is necessary. Our fishing trips are private charters, and we do not "mix" or "match" groups, so who you bring is up to you. Price and max capacity varies by boat and trip type.
