Live Oac’s signature DolphinShark™ Fishing Charter combines two of Hilton Head visitors’ favorite things to do: dolphin watching and shark fishing!
Dolphins are here year-round, but sharks are primarily a warm water fishery in Hilton Head, so we’re fishing from April to September for these toothy critters. This 4 hour charter gives us plenty of opportunity to see both. If you’re looking for a shorter trip, we do offer our 3 hour Family Shark Adventure™ Charter and even shorter 2 hour Lil’ Anglers Fishing™ Charter. It’s not unusual to see dolphins on those fishing trips, either!
This is an inshore / backcountry experience, so calmer waters are the norm, and it’s a great outing for just about all ages (5+ recommended).

Live Oac supports catch-and-release shark fishing.
This Hilton Head shark fishing excursion is great for adults and kids alike. Families with children aged 5+ will find this an excellent fit, and we adjust the activities and experience to suit the group. While it's a private trip and we can take up to 6 passengers, this works best with up to 4 adults or 2 adults with kids. Our recommendation is to split larger groups between two vessels, and we can fish side-by-side for an experience to included everyone together, turning it into a friendly fishing tournament!
All Live Oac fishing charters are led by experienced professional fishing guides & USCG licensed captains and include boat, fuel, bait and tackle (except certain full-day offshore trips which are flat rate + fuel). No experience is necessary. Our fishing trips are private charters, and we do not "mix" or "match" groups, so who you bring is up to you. Price and max capacity varies by boat and trip type.
